ABOUT THE EVENT
CS.I.R. Kft. Tokaj by Night Run, a unique night run event in the region organised by the Association “Tetterő”, will be held for the third time in Tokaj. The aim of the event is to strengthen the running community, showcase the cultural values of Tokaj and promote running as a recreational sport.
The race is not only an exciting challenge for locals, but is also open to national and international participants, thus augmenting Tokaj’s appeal for tourists.

The night time will lend the event a special atmosphere and highlight the unique ambience of the city, while our race centre and light stations will enhance the running experience with a variety of supporting activities and music.
We are delighted to see the interest in the event grow year on year, bringing us ever closer to our goal of making Tokaj by Night a truly unforgettable experience for the local community and sports enthusiasts.
Location: Tokaj
Tokaj is the centre of one of Hungary’s most famous wine regions, which is of historical and cultural importance. At the heart of the town is the confluence of the Tisza and Bodrog rivers, providing a unique natural setting for the event.
The route of the race includes the historic town centre, the foothills of Mount Tokaj and the river banks, providing an opportunity to showcase both natural and cultural values.
The starting point is Fesztiválkatlan (a famous festival venue), situated on Bodrogkeresztúri út 2, Tokaj.
The route was chosen taking into account Tokaj’s infrastructure. Light stations along the route will not only ensure the safety of the race, but will also visually highlight the sights of the city.
